All About Tea
The Beginning
Exploring a tradition over 5,000 years. Discovered accidentally by a Chinese Emperor, Shen Nong, who was a skilled ruler, scientist, and philosopher. Tea was born when Emperor Shen Nong was boiling water in the garden when a wild tea leaf fell from the branch and drifted into his pot. From there he began researching and experimenting with the tea leaves, thus tea was born. This plant is Camellia Sinesis.
Why Loose-Leaf?
Loose-leaf tea offers fuller flavors. The unbroken tea leaf retains more of its health benefits. In addition, the selection of loose-leaf teas is much more extensive than that of bagged teas. It can be steeped more times than a single tea bag, and is able to hold its flavor longer. The setup is as easy as using a tea bag. With simple steeping tools, you can enjoy a better cup of tea the way it's been enjoyed from the beginning and throughout the ages!
